While other companies merely talk about and plan environmental protection UGSoft is acting for years already.

+ Since 1987 we are a nearly exclusive virtual company. Our team works on joint projects via Internet - resulting in less exhaust gas and so saving precious breathing air.

+ Since 1987 we are using 100% Recycling Paper (`The Gray`) and were for a long time smiled at - although this was and still is a contribution for the protection of our woods.

+ From 1992 on we are using 100% Recycling Paper for printed product documentation.

+ From 1997 on we are using ring-books with exchangeable single sheets and deliver individual changes only - and so minimizing waste.

+ From 2004 on we deliver software and handbooks on CD-ROM. Printed product documentation had to be ordered and payed for individually.

+ Since end of 2006 we no longer deliver CD-ROMs. Software and documentation may be downloaded only via Internet - our products no longer need dead trees and do not create environmental pollution by producing and throwing away CD-ROMs.

+ In 2008 we are looking forward to further limit our need of electric energy and to exclusively use regenerated energy sources (sun, wind, water).

+ In 2009 we re-placed a lot of old server hardware resulting in 50% less energy costs.

+ Eventually resulting disadvantages of operating conditions will be accepted in respect of environment.
