On this ES-Backup update media you will find the following updates for ES-Backup 3.6:

+ up360 applicable for Solaris SPARC/i386 operating systems.
Changes incorporated with this update as of August 14, 2007:
fixed a problem with incomplete incremential/differential backups

The following new components will be installed:

Installing ES-Backup updates on Solaris/Linux, Installieren ES-Backup Updates auf Solaris/Linux

Logon to a terminal shell as user root.
Melden Sie sich als root Benutzer mit einer Terminal Sitzung an.

Unpack the ES-Backup update media:
Entpacken Sie das ES-Backup Updatemedium:

# cd /tmp
# uncompress -c esb360updates.tar.Z | tar xvf -

Change to the ES-Backup update folder:
Wechseln Sie in das ES-Backup Update-Verzeichnis.

# cd esb360updates

Run the ES-Backup update script:
Starten Sie das Update-Skript:

# ./update_esb

Specify the current ES-Backup Server installation directory by choosing menu 1.
Geben Sie das aktuelle ES-Backup Installationsverzeichnis mit MenŸ 1 an.

Start the upate by choosing menu 2. All available updates will be installed.
Starten Sie das Update mit MenŸ 2. Alle vorhandenen Updates werden installiert.

Quit the installer by choosing menu 0.
Beenden Sie die Installation mit MenŸ 0.
